We are getting lots of fresh green vegatables [sic] very cheap and are using lots. Get an arm load of green onions for 5 cents. Marion makes wonderful wilted lettice [sic]. Awful hot during day but cool and nice at night. Reid [sic] good letter from Mother [?] and one from Fleet. Close with lots of love to all from brother, Dan.
