[caption] The Villa of the piece: the bandit leader of Mexico's rebel army. Attention is once more centered in Mexico, owing to President Huerta's insult to the United States' flag, and President Wilson's consequent dispatch of the Atlantic Fleet to Tampico. The Mexican President not unnaturally resents the official attitude of the United States, which, while declining to recognize him on account of "his blood-stained hands" has encouraged the revolutionaries and supplied them with arms. Meanwhile, their leader, Pancho Villa, remains master of the situation, and merrily continues his villainies, which lately, in addition to wholesale murder and torture, have included the confiscation of goods belonging to British subjects, and selling them across the border.
