Description	With a predominantly African-American cast, Carib Gold tells the story of a group of Florida shrimpers who work together to recover a sunken treasure but fall victim to treachery and murder. Carib Gold was shot in and around Key West, FL, and local citizens appear alongside the film's stars, Ethel Waters, Coley Wallace, Cicely Tyson and Geoffrey Holder. In 2010, SMU's print of Carib Gold was preserved with a grant from the National Film Preservation Foundation (http://www.filmpreservation.org/).
