Description	Letter is written on "J.H.V. New Haven, CT" stationery. JHV reflecting on his spirituality. "..all day I have had a sweet peace that comes from faith in the one "mighty to save.'' The glorious sunset, with the long lingering flush on the sky flitty figures my spiritual rest. Oh yes, my darling, I know how fluctuating such seasons of tidal influences are. But they do me good. I get so discouraged about my own poor, proud, selfish hear that if the Great Love - the Spirit Divine did not once in a while take me up and fold me into rest and give me hope, I should grow discouraged even to despair. After this day of peace I shall have a conflict of some sort. I always do. May God home me! He know that I want to be His own strong, the child.''
