Plain Text Transcription	Letter 119 [Handwritten] Mar. 29, 1790 [Address panel] To The Revd Mr Haweis at the Countess of Huntingdon's Vineyards Bath By Favour of Messrs Waugh & Price My dear Sir Waugh & Price Wait upon you With every Affection Thanks to Your Most kind attention but above all Your noble & truly Apostolet Spirit so Shown in the Care of (I will hope) of this Blessed Mission May God Bless you. May the Lord add many days of special Honour upon you The Cross lyes heavy yet my Heart crys let me die with my last breath laboring for him who has all power In Heaven & earth to make the miserable & wretched happy, Young awakened Man has arrived from Rouen in France. I have put him to Mr Eyer’s Accadamy. French & German he is a little acquainted with, & his object a mission to those Countries – As my various sorrows encrease, the Gospel calls flames around me, I have such a fashionable Cold that I had quite lost my voice & with my other Infirmitys I I[sic] feel it trying as all day long some new person wants to speak to me. I send you the Inclosed as some little Satisfaction to you about those I send you Price is Clever by all accounts. I have in hand two of the finest Boys there is on earth—sixteen only, their Learning, parts and abillets[abilities] are [p. 2] amazing but the knowledge of the Gospel in their own hearts is Mr Jones thinks Most Wonderfull the Charge of these five as our day’s work for their various appointments fills my heart with hope the Lord Yet means the poor old widow shall yet rejoice through such a variety of sorrows that all wonder I am the Living yet to Praise him, I love to Write to you expecting to hear some good news as in the Lord’s Hands & so you should hold mine up, Lady Smyth has left all in private Legacies but nothing to the Gospel—vastly rich—What Wise and Carefull believers we find in our day. What various lessons each day to teach the only Lesson Worth Learning by forsaking all we are to be the faithful disciples of that Glorious but poor afflicted man Love to my very d[ea]r & faithful old Friend, you happy Partner. Do all you will ever kindly mean to every body for me & with unceasing obligations, as ever your unworthy S Huntingdon Spa Fields Monday March 29 1790 Dear Lady Ann desires all Christian Love to you both.
