Plain Text Transcription	Certificate from Spencer Madan, Bishop of Peterborough, authorizing T.H. to be absent from his parish of Aldwincle in Northamptonshire for a period of two years on account of the ill health of his wife [Elizabeth] and conditional on the employment of a curate to cover for his absence. On the reverse of the license is a note from John Hodgson at Buckden in Huntingonshire to T.H. requesting payment of the license fee of £10, which should be sent to Hodgeson at 27 Parliament Street, Westminster. (1 sheet, 2p.) November 1810
Notes	License granting Haweis' leave for two years due to the illness of his wife. Spencer Madan was the younger brother of the prominent evangelical Martin Madan.
