From Lady Caroline Hervey in Brighton, Sussex, to T.H. at the 'Vineyards' in Bath, Somerset. She was very grateful for T.H.’s last obliging letter and the particulars it contained of Caroline’s late dear friend. It was a satisfaction to know that she did not suffer greatly and though rather depressed at times, was in general ‘composed and tranquil.’ She has received the note that Mrs Dix enclosed to Mr __ and shall take is a favor if T.H. would be kind enough to give the usual sum to the [London] Missionary Society as a donation, but without revealing Hervey’s name.
