G-58, The Greatest Olympian -- Chip McAllister, number one, is cast as teen-aged boxing hopeful Cassius Clay, winner of the light-heavyweight gold medal at the 1960 Rome Olympic Games, in "The Greatest" screen biography of Muhammad Ali in which the colorful champion portrays himself, a Columbia/EMI Presentation also starring Ernest Borgnine, John Marley, and Lloyd Haynes. The new motion picture was produced by John Marshell and directed by the late Tom Gries from a screenplay by Ring Lardner, Jr., based on the book, "The Greatest: my Own Story" by Muhammad Ali, Herbert Muhammad and Richard Durham.
