Description
This photograph depicts the Texas & Pacific Railway trestle bridge , which once connected Oak Cliff and Dallas . The bridge was subsequently destroyed during the flood of May 1908 . Source : Darwin Payne , Dallas , an illustrated history , Woodland Hills , California : Windsor Publications , 1982 .
