Description
A photograph of the Trinity River from the papers of Dallas lawyer and conservationist , Ned Fritz , which is one of a batch of prints depicting stretches of the river between Dallas and Fort Worth . The pictures were taken in 1972 at a time when the Trinity River , from Fort Worth and Dallas to Galveston , was under threat of canalization as part of the proposed Trinity River Project . Fritz and the anti-canal group , Citizens ' Organization for a Sound Trinity , were campaigning to preserve the Trinity as a wild river .
