Description
This photograph is from the third album in a set of eleven albums documenting the construction of Hardinge Bridge over the lower Ganges River at Sara , India (now Paksey , Bangladesh) on the Dhaka-Kolkata railway line . Sir Robert Gailes was the chief engineer for construction of the steel railroad bridge .
