Address wanting. One of five Autograph Letters, signed, 3 to unnamed corresondents, 1 to Mrs. Mason, 1 to Mr. W. Heaton. York: 1840-1849. Well-written letters relating to his preaching engagements in the Midlands and the North. He suggested that Mr. Ruttenburg should be engaged for the Selby Circuit. He himself arranged to go to Sheffield and Ashbank and lists the counties to which he was going. He was expelled from the Wesleyan Ministry in 1849 and he wrote a letter of gratitude to W. Heaton who had approved his 'line of conduct in the proceedings of the late Wesleyan Conference'. |
